This Sun Salutation is a beginner-intermediate level Surya Namaskara at the Dreamtime Villa in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It rained the entire week. The day before we were scheduled to leave, the sun came out. I had to do some yoga by the water. The camera was rolling for something else I was about to film. I hadn’t intended on sharing the clip as a practice, but it provides a nice full body flow. “Surya Namaskar” literally means “greeting to the sun” or “welcoming the sun” in the Ancient Indian Sanskrit language. The two rounds will warm-up the entire body in just 5 minutes. Use it to wake up the body in the morning, as a warm-up before other physical activities, or even to release tension before sitting for meditation.
Enjoy… and remember you have the power to choose how to be in every moment of every day. Choose to shine your light and make a declaration: I Am Power Living!
With Purpose & Power,
